How are coordinates read from my photos?
When you add a photo, WanderSpots reads its EXIF metadata — the location and elevation your camera or phone recorded — and fills in the Spot's position automatically.
What if a photo has no location data?
Many screenshots and edited images have their location stripped. The Spot is still created; you just place the pin yourself.
How do I set a Spot's location by hand?
Open the Spot, tap the map, and drag the pin to the exact place. You can switch to satellite or topographic view for precision.
How do seasonal and condition tags work?
Tag a Spot with the seasons and conditions (clear, overcast, fog, after rain, snow) it looks best in. On the map and in your library you can filter by those tags to find what's worth visiting now.
Where does forecast data come from?
Forecasts come from a third-party weather provider, fetched for each Spot's coordinates and shown as a 4-day outlook.
How do I export my Spots?
Use the export option in the app's settings to download your Spot data. If you need help, email support.
